Kat is a NYC based actress, singer, and dancer having performed regionally and internationally. Hailing originally from New Jersey, Kat’s passion for music and theatre began at a young age, being raised on Rodgers and Hammerstein classics and her parents’ vinyl records. She quickly got involved with music - taking piano, guitar, and trumpet lessons. In her high school days she held lead roles in the musicals, choreographed the colorguard, played trumpet in the jazz band, and sang in her school’s show choir and regional honor choir. She studied at New York University’s musical theatre intensive the summer of her senior year before graduating with a B.A. in Music Theatre Performance from New Jersey City University. Kat will be returning to New York University: Steinhardt to complete her Masters in Music degree in Vocal Performance with concentration in Musical Theatre beginning Fall of 2022.
Upon receiving her B.A., Kat worked as a coach in various voice studios whilst performing in regional and children’s theatre, where she took a great interest in working with and for kids. Favorite past roles include Anna Leonowens in The King & I, Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical, and the title roles of Mary Poppins & Peter Pan. After joining the Actors’ Equity Association, Kat fulfilled a dream being employed by the Walt Disney Company working abroad as a Mainstage Performer on Disney Cruise Line and being apart of the original cast for two new productions. From there, she went on to perform for the company in Hong Kong Disneyland, opening yet another new show in fall of 2019.
Kat is currently residing in the suburbs of New Jersey after returning home from another contract with Hong Kong Disneyland in 2021. She is currently in workshop with Broadway Artists Alliance.
